ANA-MI Town Hall -  Using AI in Nursing: Help, Hype, or Hazard

This nursing town hall brings together a panel of practicing nurses from across clinical settings to talk honestly about how artificial intelligence is showing up in everyday nursing work. Through real-world examples, panelists will explore where AI tools may support documentation, decision-making, and workflow efficiency, and where caution, professional judgment, and clear boundaries are essential. The discussion will focus on practical realities, patient safety implications, and the nurse’s role in using AI responsibly, without losing the human connection that is central to nursing care. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, and voice concerns in an open, respectful forum.
